The Whetstone · Chrome Extension
Audit any argument while you read.
The Whetstone's analytical engine, mounted in Chrome's side panel. Highlight a passage or scan the whole article - get the Toulmin structure, the fallacy patterns, the hidden warrants, without leaving the page.
What it does
Open the side panel on any web page. Run the audit against the article you're reading, or select a passage and audit just that. The same eleven-lens engine that powers the Audit - running against the page in front of you.
Built for the moment you're already in: reading an op-ed, a thread, a press release, a policy brief. You don't have to copy text into another tab. The argument is there; the audit comes to it.

Analytical lenses
The same engine that runs on the web. Toulmin decomposition, 26 named fallacies, loaded language, unstated warrants, key-term consistency, referential clarity, empirical testability, modal-scope check, and more. Full breakdown →
Toulmin
Structural decomposition
Every audit returns the argument's claim, grounds, warrant, qualifier, and rebuttal - with the weakest link identified. The piece of scaffolding that, if removed, brings the argument down.
∅
Persistence-free reader mode
No account, no history, no server-side storage of what you're reading. The audit runs against the page and the result lives in the side panel for that session. Close the tab; it's gone.
